Dental Treatment in Bodrum

Turkey's most glamorous resort town. Combine your dental treatment with a luxury holiday on the Aegean Coast — ideal for UK patients visiting April through October.

Bodrum: Dental Treatment + Holiday

Bodrum is Turkey's most exclusive resort — known for its whitewashed houses, turquoise waters, and vibrant marina. Its boutique dental clinics serve a discerning international clientele, many of whom combine their treatment with a yacht holiday or luxury hotel stay.

The town has direct flights from London Gatwick, Manchester, and Birmingham during the summer season (May–October), making it easily accessible for UK patients.

However, Bodrum has fewer specialist dental clinics than Antalya or Istanbul, and prices can be slightly higher due to the resort premium. For most UK patients seeking the best combination of quality, value, and English-language support, Antalya remains the top recommendation.

Getting to Bodrum from the UK

Bodrum-Milas Airport (BJV) receives direct flights from London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, and Birmingham between May and October, with a flight time of around four hours. Return fares range from about £120 in the shoulder months to £300+ in the school holidays. Outside the summer season, direct services largely stop, and you will need to connect through Istanbul — adding two to four hours each way. This is the single most important planning point for dental patients: implant treatment usually needs two visits three to six months apart, and if your second visit falls in winter, the journey becomes noticeably longer and dearer.

The airport is about 36 km from Bodrum town — roughly 40 minutes by pre-booked transfer (£25–£35) or the Havaş shuttle bus. Most quality clinics are in Bodrum town itself or in the nearby resorts of Gümbet and Yalıkavak.

What Dental Treatment Costs in Bodrum

Expect to pay a modest resort premium in Bodrum: single implants run £420–£750 and porcelain veneers £160–£320 per tooth — perhaps 10% above Antalya, though still 60–75% below UK private prices. Accommodation is the bigger variable. In July and August, even mid-range hotels can exceed £120 a night, whereas May, June, September, and October offer far better value and pleasant temperatures for recovery. Ask any clinic for a written, itemised quote in GBP that includes transfers and follow-up visits, and confirm what happens if you need an unplanned extra appointment before flying home.

When Bodrum Makes Sense — and When It Doesn't

Bodrum is the right choice if your priority is combining straightforward cosmetic treatment — whitening, a small number of veneers or crowns — with a proper summer holiday, and your dates fall inside the direct-flight season. Five to seven days on the ground comfortably covers a veneer or crown case, leaving time for the marina, the Castle of St Peter, and a boat day on the Aegean.

It is less well suited to complex work. The town has only a small pool of specialist prosthodontists and implant surgeons, and winter access is awkward for staged treatment. For full-mouth reconstruction, All-on-4, or multiple implants, most UK patients are better served in Antalya, where Taki Dent — rated 9.8/10, authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health for international health tourism, with a written guarantee (lifetime on implants; 5–10 years on crowns/veneers) — operates year-round with direct UK flights every month of the year. Independent comparisons are available in the clinic directory and the current Turkey clinic rankings.

Practical checks apply in Bodrum as everywhere in Turkey: verify the clinic's Ministry of Health registration, ask which named dentist will carry out your treatment, avoid alcohol and sunbathing in the first days after surgery, and take out travel insurance that covers dental complications. Our travel guide covers visas, insurance, and aftercare planning in detail.
